I cannot believe how quickly August 15th is approaching. I remember being accepted into the DCP the beginning of March, the 100 day milestone, the assortment of emails and paperwork from Disney, and most recently the 1 month milestone.
For the past several months I have had the pleasure to become good friends with my roommates: Kacie, Colleen, and Christina. You girls are awesome! We plan to arrive at check in bright and early and get a two bedroom apartment at Vista Way. I am looking forward to meeting everyone else I've talked to (and haven't talked to) who will also arrive August 15th - a great group of people if I do say so myself :)
I was accepted into the role of attractions! I know I will be bursting with excitement as I await my placement at Casting. I love the fact that Disney keeps it magical for us new cast members. Although I would love to be assigned the Jungle Cruise I'm up for anything and will make the most of this experience. Here is when I would love to use one of my favorite French expressions "profiter de" which has a much deaper, positive connotation than "make the most of." After Disney, I will teach high school students this beautiful language.
I spent a year abroad in France soaking up European history and culture, and of course French! So, it's no surprise that I love the World Showcase, and IllumiNations. There's a powerful magical feeling watching countries around the world unite. That is one of my favorite aspects about Walt Disney World. Everyone is welcome to share in the magic of Disney together. I am looking forward to meeting the international cast members who help make this happen.
It is now after midnight so that means. . .
